Sheriff's investigators allege that a Fairfax youth had in his possession a .22 caliber pistol taken from a residence located near his Wilkens Road home. The pistol, deputies said, was recovered from 17-year-old Danford J. Cross's bedroom. Police said that a Yamaha 4-wheeler also was reported missing Jan. 17, the same as the gun theft, but it has not been recovered. Authorities did not list the name of the theft victim. Cross was cited for possession of stolen property
