Police are investigating an accident in Fairfax. It happened on the Buck Hollow Road early Saturday morning, March 8, 2003. Police say the driver was just a half-mile from his house when he went off the road. He was trapped for a couple of hours before a passing vehicle spotted him. The operator was intrapped, they called for heavy rescue and believe he was there for up to two hours before anybody found him. He may have gone off the road at 4am after falling asleep gone off the edge of the road and hit a tree head on. Heavy rescue was called in to help remove the victim from his car. Police have not released the driver's name -- and there's no word on his condition yet.
