THE FLAGS OF FAIRFAX
(Photos by Henry Raymond - March 31, 2003)

A cold north wind flutters the flag at the Phyllis Soule house

In the center of the village, flags are seen on each light pole and on Maple Street at the former Dorothy King home, one can be seen flying from the front porch

The view looking south just ahead of the Baptist Church finds flags hanging on each light pole, I believe, thanks to Duane Leach and Tom Snyder of the Fairfax Fire Department.

A view from the top of Main Hill, with Mt. Mansfield in the background, partially wrapped in the clouds on this cold, blustery day with a wind chill of about 10 degrees above zero

As one looks down Cain Street, directly at the end, the American and British Flags Fly
