BILL & FRENA PHILLIPS CELEBRATE THEIR 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

WESTFORD -- Mr. and Mrs. William Phillips celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a surprise gathering at the Westford School hosted by family and friends November 9, 2002.

William Phillips, son of Frank & Marion (Colley) Phillips and Frena Gevenea Webb, daughter of Samuel and Bertha Jane (Brookes) Webb were married November 8, 1952, in the United Church of Fairfax by the Rev. Lew Swancott.

Their family includes a son, Charles "Chuck" and wife, France, son Allen "Clem" and son Scot and wife, Kim, and seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Todd, Shane, Krystle, Megan, Jennifer and Bill, all of Westford.

Mr. and Mrs. Phillips' son, Chuck, acted as master of ceremonies, and each member of their immediate family presented Mr. and Mrs. Phillips with a rose.

Mr. and Mrs. Phillips have resided in Westford for 46 years.
